The Electoral Commission (EC) has slated Thursday, February 16, 2023, for its planned continuous registration of voters ahead of the upcoming district level and unit committee elections.

A timetable released by the EC and sighted by Angelonline.com.gh says there shall be a continuous meeting of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) on February 10, before the formal date is confirmed.

The Commission also intends to carry out the Deduplication and adjudications of the voters on April 14.

According to the time-table, the registration will proceed by an exhibition of the register between Tuesday, June 6 and Saturday, June 10 when successfully done.

This means that, Friday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 21, will be dedicated for the transfer of voters before the preparations towards this year’s district level and unit committee elections, proposed to be held on Tuesday, October 3.

These elections are expected to serve as the ground for the next general elections in 2024.
