National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, says his party will win the forthcoming Assin North by-election conveniently to recapture the vacant seat previously occupied by the opposition NDC.

According to him, the party will win the June 27 election with ease like they did in the just ended by-election at the Kumawu Constituency, which saw Ernest Yaw Anim win with huge margin to retain the seat for the ruling party.

Salam Mustapha was speaking on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at a press conference organized by the NPP National Youth Wings in Accra on the theme: ‘Truth and Facts Forum’ to address issues of ‘misinformation and misconceptions’ about the government.

He buttresses, the party exhibited in the Kumawu by-election of being capable of winning any other elections, hence his pronouncement on the pending Assin North by-election.

He, therefore, admonished the people of Assin North to support the NPP massively in the region in both the by-election and the 2024 general elections since in his view, the NPP is the only party that has them at heart.

“The party has shown in all sectors of the economy that they are the government that can bring development to the people of Ghana,” the national youth organizer added.
