A member of the Dr. Bawumia Campaign Team, Maame Afua Akoto has insinuated that Ghana does not need a change of the Akufo-Addo government, rather a change in the mindset of the citizenry.

She believes that the way power alternates between the NPP and NDC is not fostering the development of the country and the need to allow Dr. Bawumia continue as President.

“What I want us to understand is that considering our current situation, there is no need to change a good government like the Akufo-Addo’s, however we must change our mindset,” she asserted.

She made these assertions on Angel Morning Show, While expressing her thoughts on the current performance of the Akufo-Addo government.

According to her, every citizen in the country needs to change their mindset including the old and young.

“ ‘Gen Z’ needs a change of mindset, ‘oldies’ need a change of mindset and the middle age as well needs a change of mindset,” she added.

The former Deputy Secretary of MASLOC finally pointed out that the failure of the citizenry to change their mindset is ultimately the doom of the nation.
