Celebrated Ghanaian Businessman, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, has unmasked the frustration he faced before his stardom.

He noted that he was ridiculed by some neighbors for his decision to embark on medicine business.

The Founder and President of the Angel Group of Companies stated this on the Angel Morning Show (AMS) hosted by Saddick Adams in an exclusive interview.

“Truthfully speaking, I remember an incident at Breman West, an enclave where I reside; there were some ladies at a hairdressing shop and a Call Center who used to make a mockery of me for selling medicine on my head.

So one of the ladies among them approached me one day due to our cordial relationship and told me that the ladies laugh at me, retorting that, until when would I make money from such business,” he disclosed.

Mr. Oteng, however, pointed out that such behavior from these neighbors did not get him demotivated from pursuing his dream, as he considered their actions out of ignorance.

“My reply to her was that they [her friends] were ignorant about the income I made on daily sales so I was unbothered about their actions,” the business mogul said on Monday, February 17, 2025.
