A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team, Ellen Ama Daaku, has said that the manner at which President John Mahama’s government has resorted to complaints is becoming too many.
According to her, this habit of blame game by the President and his appointees must end immediately.
However, she is urging him to focus on addressing the issues at hand as the public do not want to hear issues of complaints.
During a panel discussion on the Angel Morning Show on Monday, March 10, 2025, Madam Daaku emphasized that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been vocal about their grievances since assuming power.
She pointed out that the NDC raised several complaints during the inauguration, the State of the Nation Address, and the Independence Day celebrations on March 6.
“Their work begins tomorrow with the budget presentation, and we do not want to hear any excuses,” she stated.
The NPP communicator further remarked, “If Nana could not get things right, then President Mahama, who claims he is a savior, must step up and fix it.”
She asserted that Ghanaians were already aware of the issues and do not require further elaborations at this point.
“He presents himself as all-knowing and capable, which is why many Ghanaians voted for him,” she noted.
Nonetheless, Ellen Ama Daaku believes President Mahama would continue his complaints during the upcoming budget presentation.
“I am sure tomorrow’s budget too he will make complaints but after that, it should be over.” Ghanaians elected you because you claimed you could deliver,” she concluded.
