Fraud and Security Consultant Richard Kumadoe has condemned the actions of police officers who threw money at the newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP), COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno.

Mr. Kumadoe says the actions of these officers following the new IGP’s appointment are completely unacceptable and inappropriate for law enforcement agencies.

Speaking on the Angel Morning Show (AMS) on March 18, 2025, the security expert described the behavior as nonsense.

“I don’t see that gesture as excitement but rather absolutely nonsensical because law enforcement officers are to be seen to be promoting common sense over nonsense.

So that level of despondency of splashing money on newly appointed IGP and many of those things is not the best.”

He elaborated, expressing confusion over what triggered such behavior among police officers, who engaged in excessive celebration.

“So I don’t see why officers will go to that extent and throw money as if you don’t know what you are doing. So my brother, let me emphasize, I don’t see it as overly exciting but nonsense,” he added.
