I won’t resort to antagonism in addressing Ghana Football issues – Sports Minister

Must Read

Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adam’s, has highlighted the importance of working collaboratively with stakeholders of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to address concerns in the sector.

Speaking on the perceived friction between the ministry and the leadership of the GFA, which has persisted over the years, the minister maintained that collaboration is essential to advance the association’s goals.

Emphasising this, Kofi Adams shared the view that adopting resentment would be the least effective approach.

“There are a number of federations that, as a minister responsible for sports, you will work with and work through. Being an antagonist should be the last thing you must adopt as a leader.

“I see problems, but I don’t see the human beings as the problems. The first thing I will do is to let us identify the problem. And to let you know that we must solve these problems,” he said on Channel One TV.

He, however, noted that, “But where you continue to become an obstacle to solving the problems, then it means now you are a problem, and in that case, we can deal with you as the problem.”
