Adu-Boahene’s bail revoked for ‘interfering’ with witness

The bail of the former Director-General of the National Signal Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu Boahen, has been revoked by the High Court for potential interference with witnesses of the Attorney-General.

Angel News’ Ama Brako Ampofo reports on Friday, May 2, 2025, that Deputy Attorney-General, Justice Srem Sai and Counsel for the accused, Samuel Atta Kyead, held in camera meeting with the trial Judge prior to the hearing.

After the meeting, the judge stated in open court that the bail conditions of Kwabena Adu Baonhen has been revoked for seven days.

This is to enable the Office of the Attorney-General to conclude their preparation in their witness statement.

Kwabena Adu Boahen, wife and another are standing trial for allegedly stealing, money laundering, willfully causing financial loss and using public office for personal gains.

They’ve all pleaded not guilty to all charges against them.
