Ghanaian rapper and singer, Amerado has shared insights into his transition to exploring different music genres.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM on Monday, June 2, 2025, Amerado revealed that his upbringing has played a significant role in his ability to effortlessly switch between genres.
“Growing up, I’ve been listening to all kinds of music,” he explained.
“My dad used to play Lucky Dube, while my mom loves Daddy Lumba, so I’ve been exposed to their songs without even realizing it.”
He also believes this diverse musical background has made it easier for him to venture into other genres.
The rapper also shared his confidence in his musical direction, noting that every song he releases, regardless of genre, gets a nomination.
“Every song I drop from any genre gets a nomination, It means I’m on the right path,” he concluded.
