The Member of Parliament (MP) for Akuapem South Constituency, Lawrencia Adwoa Dziwornu, has reiterated her commitment to the development of the area through the implementation of well-structured policies and projects.

Madam Dziwornu emphasized her unwavering dedication, stating that championing the development of Akuapem South remains her topmost priority.

She highlighted her intention to work closely with traditional authorities in the area and assured that together, they would achieve their shared goals.

“As a Member of Parliament for the constituency, my topmost priority is to champion developmental projects for my constituents. So I am glad to hear Nana Adjei Boako Odiahenkan championing the same cause,” the MP expressed in an interview.

Madam Dziwornu made these remarks on Saturday, May 31, 2025, during the installation of Nana Adjei Boako Odiahenkan I as Mankrado for the people of Obodan in the Akuapem Adonten Division.

Her statement came in response to a speech by the newly installed Mankrado, who expressed his commitment to leading the community toward development.

The lawmaker stated she would focus on job creation, particularly for the youth, as a key part of her development agenda for the constituency.

“I will help him [Nana Adjei Boako Odiahenkan I] achieve that by create job opportunities for the people in the constituency, especially the youth, to enable them to stay away from social vices,” she stressed.

In his address, the newly installed Mankrado of Obodan, Nana Adjei Boako Odiahenkan I, assured the people of Obodanman that he would remain relentless in his efforts to advance the area’s development.

“As Obodan Mankrado, I will work collaboratively with Obodanhene, Nana Kyene Sakyi Amponsah I, and his cabinet to lobby for more developmental projects for the community,” he said.

Nana Odiahenkan I expressed gratitude to the chiefs and elders for honoring him with the responsibility to serve, pledging to uphold his legacy and continue working hard to further transform the community.

He reaffirmed his commitment to remain loyal and truthful to Obodanhene and to serve with humility and diligence.
