Founder and Leader of Parliament Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, has urged fellow men of God, especially prophets, to remain focused amid public reactions to the government’s directive on prophecies.

He stated that the step taken by the government is meant to support the prophetic ministry and not to undermine it.

Speaking on Angel TV, he emphasized that the initiative to channel national prophecies through a Presidential Envoy is positive.

“It is so positive move and not a negative one for the prophetic office. But enemies have twisted the whole thing over to use it as a crusade against Prophets. It’s not meant to be that way, so, I urge Prophets to exercise restraint because this is for them, and a great opportunity,” he said.

His comments follow controversies surrounding the government’s decision to regulate prophecies of national interest through the Office of the Presidential Envoy headed by Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.

Under the directive, religious leaders are encouraged to submit prophecies for review.

Amoako Attah noted that if such an office had existed earlier, prophecies linked to the recent helicopter crash could have been formally submitted and reviewed through that channel.

He described the envoy as the “best decision” to support religious leaders, particularly emerging prophets.

“This is the best office for young prophets to relay their prophecies. The government is not attacking you, don’t allow the devil to distort the message,” he told host Saddick Adams on Tuesday, August 12, 2025,
