Founder and President of ‘Reaching Out Foundation’, Peggy Ellis says its primary objective is to provide care and support to the needy.

Speaking during the launch at Tema Community 5 on Saturday, November 1, 2025, she revealed that the Foundation’s idea originated from a secondary school classroom discussion where she and her friends explored ways to make a positive impact by helping others.

“Reaching Out started as a simple classroom discussion back in Holy Child, just as a conversation among my friends about how much we could help others around us.

“What started as a small idea grew into a vision and today by God’s grace, that vision has become ‘Reaching Out Foundation’, she explained.

She continued: “The Reaching Out was founded out of genuine desire to make a difference to reach out to the vulnerable, the unprivileged and those who simply need someone’s care,” she said.

Peggy Ellis noted that the Foundation’s objectives include supporting orphanages, needy families, and education initiatives, as well as empowering lives through resource provisions.

She further disclosed that, the Foundation’s upcoming project involves donating to an orphanage, where they will provide assistance with school fees, food, baby essentials and more, adding that “it is just the beginning of a lifelong journey of service and compassion.”

She called on individuals to partner with the Foundation, ensuring its mission and initiative continue to thrive.

“We know that we cannot do this alone, we need partnership, prayer and support from everyone here today to keep the mission alive,” she urged.
