Kumasi Asante Kotoko extended their unbeaten streak in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) after securing a 1–1 draw with Aduana Stars in their match-day 10 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Although the Porcupine Warriors were unable to claim all three points, they remain the only team yet to suffer defeat this season.

Aduana Stars silenced the home fans just six minutes into the encounter when Emmanuel Marfo pounced on a loose ball spilled by goalkeeper Aziz Daari to open the scoring.

The “Ogya Boys” kept up the pressure after the early breakthrough, carving out several dangerous chances in Kotoko’s half but failing to double their advantage.

On the brink of halftime, Asante Kotoko right-back Lord Amoah produced a stunning long-range effort that deflected wickedly before finding the back of the net past goalkeeper Prince Osei.

After the restart, both sides returned with renewed determination, trading attacks in an intense end-to-end contest as they searched for a decisive winner.

Ultimately, the game finished 1–1, ensuring Kotoko’s unbeaten run remained intact.

The Porcupine Warriors currently occupy sixth place on the league table, with two outstanding fixtures due to their involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.

They are set to host Young Apostles on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in one of those rescheduled matches.
