Amenfi Central MP pleads with gov’t to fix roads in constituency

The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has appealed to the government to fix several roads network in her constituency.

She cited the need for improved infrastructure to enable boost economic growth and development in Amenfi Central.

In a passionate plea, Madam Gyan Cudjoe listed 33 roads that require urgent attention, including the Humgebire-Gate-Ankwaso-Juabo-Wuratrem-Wasa Akropong road, Wuratrem-Ankasie-Agona Amenfi road, and Pensanom-Obeng-Anakum-Amuni Dwirigum-Fuleso road, among others.

The MP emphasized that the roads are crucial for the people of Amenfi Central, who rely heavily on agriculture and mining, stating that fixing them would greatly improve their lives and livelihoods.

Her appeal covers roads in various communities, including Agona Amenfi, Manso Amenfi, Jedua Kesse, Kwabeng, Kofi Gyan, Kyeikrom, Ashiam, and many others.

The MP’s appeal is as follows:

  •  From Humgebire(Gate) through Ankwaso, Juabo, Wuratrem to Wasa Akropong
  •  Wuratrem through Ankasie to Agona Amenfi
  • Pensanom through Obeng, Anakum, Amuni Dwirigum to Fuleso

  • Agona Amenfi to Jedua Kesse
