The Minister for Communication and Digitalization, Samuel Nartey George, has warned cyber fraudsters that the government will pursue them relentlessly, regardless of who they target.
His warning comes after the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) Ghana, led by its Director-General, Divine Selase Agbeti, and the Law Enforcement Unit, successfully struck at the heart of cyber-based crime in collaboration with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), National Investigations Bureau (NIB), and Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
In a post on his Facebook page on Friday, December 12, he commended the CSA Ghana and the Law Enforcement Unit for a successful operation against cyber-based crime, carried out in collaboration with other agencies.
“We’ll come after you so long as you engage in cyber-based crime either against Ghanaians or any other person,” Mr. Nartey stated, emphasizing the government’s resolve to tackle cybercrime head-on.
