Prophet Roja predicts hardship for South Africa following xenophobic attacks

Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Samuel Roja, says South Africa will face difficult times in the future as a result of the mistreatment of fellow Africans there, particularly Ghanaians, by some citizens of the country.

Speaking on ‘Y’aduma Nie’ on Angel 102.9FM on Monday, June 1, 2026, the prophet claimed that South Africans would eventually regret their actions toward Ghanaians and warned of impending challenges for the country.

“The people in South Africa will even leave their own country and go through hardship. They will become sad because of what they have done to Ghanaians. Mark this date down, June 1, 2026; I am saying it here,” he stated.

Prophet Roja further declared that no nation that opposes Ghana would prosper, describing Ghana as “the apple of God’s eye.”

“Any country that stands against Ghana will never survive. Record this: South Africans will become sad in their own country…Ghana is the apple of God’s eyes,” he said.

According to the prophet, South Africa could experience a decline that would leave the country seeking visitors and foreign residents, but he claimed that few people would be willing to go there.

“Their country will become empty, and they will want visitors and foreigners to come, but no one will go there,” he added.

He also advised Ghanaians currently residing in South Africa to carefully consider their future in the country.

“Ghanaians who are still in South Africa can continue their journey there if they wish, but if they cannot, they should return to Ghana,” he said.

Prophet Roja also praised President John Dramani Mahama, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Chief of Staff for what he described as their foresight and leadership.

“The President, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Chief of Staff know what they are doing. They see ahead of time. Sometimes what they do may not make sense to others, but it makes sense to them because they can see beyond what others see,” he remarked.

He concluded by commending the government for its efforts in bringing Ghanaians back home from South Africa.

“God bless President Mahama and his Members of Parliament for bringing our sisters and brothers back from South Africa,” Prophet Roja stated.
