Fashion entrepreneur Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Fashion King, has dismissed claims of having any romantic interest in gospel musician Florence Obinim, wife of Bishop Daniel Obinim.
Speaking in response to concerns surrounding his video collaborations with Florence Obinim, Osebo explained that he only featured her in his videos because of her popularity and public appeal.
“Florence is his wife, so only he can explain why he doesn’t want me shooting videos with her. From my perspective, she had no ill intentions during our collaborations. I simply felt featuring her would be a good idea because of her popularity, and she even came along with Nayas,” Osebo said.
Osebo noted that he has worked with several female entertainers in the past without any issues, citing gospel singers Piesie Esther and Grace Ashy as examples.
“I remember Piesie Esther informed me about a video clip, I did it for her. The same applies to Grace Ashy. There was no misunderstanding between us,” he stated.
The fashion icon further praised Florence Obinim, describing her as a wise and devoted wife who would never engage in an extramarital affair.
“For a fact, I just want to let Obinim know that his wife, Florence Obinim, will not allow any man to have an affair with her because she’s a wise woman, smart, and she loves her husband so much,” he said.
Osebo also revealed that he admired Florence long before she married Bishop Obinim, stressing that his admiration was purely based on her music career.
“I even liked her before Obinim came into the picture. I liked her because of her song ‘Osro Ne Me Fie’,” he disclosed.
He firmly denied any intention of pursuing a relationship with another man’s wife.
“I will never have an intimate relationship with another man’s wife. I have zero interest in your wife. I haven’t even finished with the single ladies. Your wife and I have no affairs doing. Your wife will not even allow that, so make peace with your wife and settle your differences,” he added.
Osebo concluded by saying he would maintain a professional distance from Florence Obinim in future projects to avoid creating tension in her marriage.
“When she wants us to shoot another video, I will tell her to distance herself from me because her husband will not be happy about it,” he concluded.
