Actor and filmmaker, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has stirred controversy after making a daring pledge tied to the Black Stars’ campaign at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
The Kumawood star expressed strong confidence in Ghana’s chances of progressing beyond the group stage, declaring that he would abandon his acting career if the national team fails to qualify for the next round.
Speaking in a video shared on social media on June 15, 2026, LilWin stated that he is convinced the Black Stars will advance and is willing to face the consequences should they fall short.
“If the Black Stars do not qualify from the group stage, I will quit acting in movies,” he said.
The actor reiterated his belief in the team’s ability to succeed, emphasizing that he stands firmly behind his statement.
“I am saying this with so much confidence that if Ghana does not qualify for the next stage, I will quit acting in Kumawood movies,” he added.
LilWin further intensified his remarks by suggesting that he would pursue a highly controversial alternative career path if the Black Stars fail to meet expectations.
