NPP holds foot soldier meeting; devises plans towards 2024 elections

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Youth has organized a foot soldier engagement at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to reach out to all the foot soldier executives in the various constituencies across the regions of Ghana.

The NPP National Deputy Communication Director, Yaw Preko, explained that the purpose of the engagement is to know the foot soldiers’ challenges, and to forward same to the appropriate quarters for solutions which in the long run would propel the party to victory in 2024 elections.

He added that, the engagement also seeks to encourage the youth who worked hard to help the party win the 2020 elections, to not let up to help the party break the eight-year cycle.

He therefore said, since the NPP came to power, they have helped most of the Ghanaian youth to get a better works to do including the Nursing/Teacher training allowance given to students every month.

According to him, NPP is the only party under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo to have made sure that most of the youth in Ghana got better works to do, by introducing NABCO and other co-operate works.

“We have removed the freeze on public sector employment by IMF programme, so all public institutions are employing: The Police, Military, Immigration, Fire service, all of them are recruiting. Automatic employment of nurses and teachers have been restored”, he said.

Angel News Kwadwo Baffour spoke to the CEO of Accra Digital Centre, Hon. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, who is also part of NPP foot soldiers leadership. He said, communication is one of the key points to everything and it should not always be based on internal but rather it should be more external.

According to him, that approach will help the party know the wellbeing of their members and those who vote for them, and if they are lacking in any area they can help, which would all contribute to breaking the eight-year cycle.
