The Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament’s aide, Nana Dubin Kwapong has said that the legislator is expected to be in the country this week, barring any last-minute changes.
Responding to a question about when Adwoa Safo would return, the aide said “I will say, this week we will hear from her. As in we will see her.”
According to the aide, Sarah Adwoa Safo would be in Parliament and resume work as Gender Minister.
Nana Dubin Kwapong was optimistic that the residents of Dome-Kwabenya will support their MP to thrive and succeed upon her return.
A Facebook post from the legislator left many Ghanaians wondering if she would be in Ghana soon.
The photos came with the inscription “you prepare a table before me, in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over,” she quoted Psalm 23:5 in her caption.
Social media users, among other wishes, prayed for a safe journey and said they cannot wait to see her resume her duties.
The aide had in an earlier interview noted that that the MP was engaging the Clerk of Parliament over hr protracted absence from the house.
