Gospel musician, Philippa Baafi, has opened up about her life journey in the music industry from childhood, leading to a successful career as a gospel musician.
“I started my career in 1999, and my first album was released that same year. Since then, I’ve produced 10 albums, each containing eight to 10 songs,” she told Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, host of the Angel Morning Show on Angel TV and Angel FM 102.9 FM in Accra.
Philippa spoke about her new album, ‘Eda ho pefee’ which reflects on her roots and the journey she has taken through life.
“The album is a testimony of God’s grace and guidance. It reflects where I started and how far God has brought me. I can’t help but praise the Lord for His blessings.”
She revealed the challenges she faced early in life. “I lost my father when I was in primary six, and in my first year of secondary school, I also lost my mother. Despite these hardships, God has been faithful and has made me a better person,” she added.
Philippa’s story is a testament to her faith and perseverance. “I don’t need anyone to remind me to praise the Lord for His goodness. My life is living proof of His work in my life,” she said.
