Managing Editor of the Daily Searchlight newspaper and run away member of the New Patriotic Party, Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie has revealed that Okaikwei North has been very instrumental to his success story therefore his desire to give back.
Appearing on Angel Morning Show, May 31, 2024, Ken revealed that he has been in the constituency for over 30 years and has witnessed the significant development of the area.
“All the developments of the area that I am talking about is over 30 years ago and I have lived and witnessed it,” he said.
He added that with his deep knowledge and considering the importance of the constituency in his life, he is ready to also give back to the people of the area.
“I came to Okaikwei North as a secondary school dropout, but I am a lawyer today. So what I want to say is if you receive the goodness of a land, you should be ready to give back,” he added.
Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie openly declared his intention to quit the NPP and contest as an Independent Candidate in April after failing to capture the parliamentary candidature on a third attempt. He recently lost to Nana Ama Dokua.
