The Asuom Mrewasahene and Kontihene, Nana Boadi Amponim Obodade Ill, has stated that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia fallen from his once-hailed status as the “Messi” of Ghana’s economy.

Nana Boadi Amponim Obodade criticized Dr. Bawumia over the worsening economic situation and questioned his ability to deliver on his promises if given the nod in the upcoming December 7 elections.

The Kontihene did not hold back, saying that the NPP flagbearer, who was once seen as a beacon of hope for saving the country’s economy, has gone from being a game changer to a ‘Ball Boy’.

Nana Boadi Amponim Obodade made these comments during a community engagement with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, in Kade.

Meanwhile, the chief of Aprade in the Achiase constituency, Nana Owusu Twum Barima Tiabofre II, has accused the government of neglecting road projects in his township.

According to him, former President John Mahama initiated a road project in the area, but the current government has failed to complete it.

He, therefore, urged his people to vote massively for change, referencing the U.S. election and predicting that a similar outcome will occur in Ghana on December 7.

The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has also called on the people of the Eastern Region to vote for change in this year’s election.

He claimed that the incumbent government has mismanaged the country and should not be given another term.
