Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has boldly declared her intention to win the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artiste of the Year next year.
Addressing fans during the BYK Concert, the award-winning artiste expressed strong confidence in her rising dominance in the music industry, stating that no colleague would stand in her way.
“Next year for me, TGMA artiste of the year, I will take over,” she told the cheering crowd.
Wendy Shay further suggested that some of her colleagues are already making moves towards the coveted title, pointing out rapper Medikal in her remarks.
“I see say some of my colleagues dey make wild for the TGMA artiste of the year. Even Medikal wants the TGMA award, but he won’t get it because next year we are taking artiste of the year. Then after, we will fill this stadium,” she added.
