The Berekum Circuit Court, presided over by His Honour Mr Osei Kofi Amoako Esq., has remanded Emmanuel Yeboah into police custody for attempted murder and causing harm.
The suspect was arrested on Saturday, January 3, 2026 by the Bono Regional Police Command after a report of an attack that left two individuals with multiple injuries.
Investigations reveal Yeboah ambushed the victims— a man and his brother’s wife— while they were heading to a disputed cashew farm.
The assault is believed to stem from a long‑standing disagreement over ownership of the farm.
Police recovered a cutlass, used as an exhibit, and the victims are currently admitted at a health facility receiving medical treatment.
Emmanuel Yeboah is expected to reappear before the Berekum Circuit Court on Monday, January 12, for the continuation of proceedings.
