New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has congratulated Matthew Nyindam following his reinstatement as Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kpandai Constituency by the Supreme Court.

The congratulatory message comes after the apex court overturned an earlier decision that had affected Mr. Nyindam’s parliamentary status, thereby reaffirming his position as the duly elected MP for the constituency.

Dr. Bawumia, in a brief message, praised the lawmaker and encouraged him to continue serving his constituents diligently.

“Congratulations to my brother, Hon Matthew Nyindam, reaffirmed MP for Kpandai Constituency.
Keep serving your constituents well,” he said via a socia media post Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
