The National Service Authority (NSA) has clarified that the submission of Monthly Evaluation Forms by personnel does not require any form of payment.

According to the Authority, alleged demands for money linked to the submission process are “unauthorized.”

In a circular issued on February 2, 2026, management revealed that reports of a pressing nature had reached its headquarters, indicating that some National Service Personnel (NSP) were being asked to make payments before their forms were accepted or processed at certain district offices.

“Management wishes to state unequivocally that no payment whatsoever is required from any National Service Personnel for the submission, validation, or processing of Monthly Evaluation Forms.

“Any demand for money in this regard is unauthorised, unacceptable, and contrary to the policies and regulations of the Authority,” it noted.

Management further disclosed that some district managers found culpable in similar instances had already been sanctioned and suspended pending further investigation.

The circular cautioned district managers to desist immediately from engaging in monetary demands, while advising NSP not to make any payments to officers or individuals in relation to their forms.

“Any NSP who has been coerced to make such payments is encouraged to report the matter immediately to the appropriate Regional Office or directly to the Head Office of the Authority for prompt investigation and action.”

Management assures all stakeholders that appropriate administrative and disciplinary measures will be applied where any officer is found culpable.

The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, integrity, and fairness, urging stakeholders to accord the circular the urgency and seriousness it deserves.
