Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has responded to a registration ban imposed by the Federation International Football Association (FIFA).
The Ghana Premier League giant confirmed the sanction and said it stems from unresolved financial obligations related to the Renne Hiddink matter.
In an official statement dated 22 August 2025, the club acknowledged the development and assured supporters that its management and board are actively engaging the Ghana Football Association and FIFA to resolve the issue swiftly and responsibly.
The statement clarified that all current player registrations were completed prior to the enforcement of the ban, meaning there will be no immediate disruption to the squad or its competitive commitments.
“We understand the concerns this may raise, and we appeal to our Phobian family to remain calm and united,” the statement read.
