The Vice President, Her Excellency Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has praised the Pomadze Poultry progress.
Delivering a speech at the 93rd Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Winneba, she highlighted the significance of the poultry initiative.
She revealed that, the Pomadze poultry initiative is designed to include purpose built facilities for a number birds with modern feeding systems and waste management.
“With the Pomadze poultry initiative which is designed to include purpose built facilities for about 100,00 birds, modern feeding systems, a feed mill and environmentally responsible waste management,”
She noted that, the initiative aligns with the national objective under the Feed Ghana and ‘Nkoko Nketenkete’ to strengthen domestic poultry production and significantly reduce reliance on imports by 2028.
Vice President highlighted the expected outcomes for this initiative.
“We expect to enhance food security and inclusive accurate business, this is how policy become practice,”
She further praised the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission’s effort to revamp Pomadze Poultry Farm.
