The United States Embassy in Ghana has extended a warm reception to the Black Stars as they arrived in the United States to continue preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The team touched down on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, for the global tournament scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19.
In a statement, the Embassy said it was proud to welcome the team, stating, “Akwaaba to the United States, Ghana Black Stars!”
The Embassy further sent a goodwill message to the team and expressed hope for a good campaign.
“Wishing the team every success during this initial group stage,” it added.
Ghana has been drawn in a group alongside England, Panama, and Croatia, with hopes of advancing to the next round.
