The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has rolled out a nationwide ‘World Cup Watch Party’ for the general public for the 2026 edition of the global football tournament.
By this initiative, the GTA is setting up a series of live screening events in all 16 regions.
The screenings will run from June 11 to July 19, matching the tournament dates.
According to the Authority, this is designed as part of its efforts to promote “national pride and international engagement.”
In a statement, the GTA explained that this will present opportunities for local fans to gather and enjoy the matches together across the country.
GTA added that detailed locations for each region have been published on its website and social media slides and admonished fans to access them for easy identification of a viewing centre within their enclave.
“Check the slides or visit our website for detailed locations in your area,” It noted.
It urged Ghanaians to turn out in their numbers and rally behind the Black Stars to make an impact at the tournament.
“Join us in supporting the Black Stars as they strive to make Ghana proud on the global stage,” the Authority stated.
