Award-winning Nigerian singer, Davido, has revealed that if he had not pursued a career in music, he would likely have become a media or record label owner due to his passion for the entertainment industry.
Speaking in a recent interview, the Afrobeats star said his love for entertainment would have driven him to build a business in the industry, even if he had chosen to work in his father’s company.
“I’d probably be like a label owner or own a media house because I’ve always loved entertainment. And even if I was working in my dad’s office, I can see myself having a side business, a music label, just because I love music,” Davido said.
The singer also highlighted his educational background, noting that he holds a degree in business management and could have pursued a corporate career if music had not worked out.
“I have a degree. I have a BSc in Business Management, so I can go to Barclays here and get a good job,” he added.
