The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has boycotted the Wednesday edition of Peace FM’s Morning Show, Kokrokoo with effect from today, 6th May, 2020.

The boycott, GhanaNewsPage.Com gathered is in protest of the continuous presence of former Central Regional Chairman of the party, Bernard Allotey Jacobs on the Wednesday edition of the show.

Host of the award winning show, Kwami Sefa Kayi announced on Wednesday that ‘the NDC has refused or unwilling’ to appear on the show.

Communications Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi during his last appearance on the show warned that the NDC won’t be appearing on the Wednesday edition of the show if the producers fail to sack Allotey Jacobs from the show or give the NDC two slots on Wednesdays.

His protests follows belief in various quarters of the party that the former Central Regional chair has not been furthering the cause of the party since the party lost the 2016 elections.

Various NDC Communicators and sympathisers have been fighting Bernard Allotey Jacobs for always hampering the communication efforts of the party.

The NDC had previously succeeded in removing Allotey Jacobs from shows such as Adom TV ‘Badwam’ but have not succeeded in removing him from Kokrokoo.

The reason lies in the fact that Allotey Jacobs is always invited to the show by the host who has insisted that he always becomes a part of his Wednesday panel.
