Defeated Member of Parliament representing the people of Nkawkaw, Eric Kwakye Daffour has sent warm felicitations to newly elected Parliamentary candidate, Joseph Frimpong for winning the just ended primaries.

In a facebook post he writes:

A good evening to you all.

With much gratitude, I want to thank everybody for their enormous support over the years of my tenure as Parliamentary Candidate for this cherished Constituency.

Delegates, who are ultimately the mouthpiece of the people have spoken earlier today. I accept their choice and want to say a big thank you to everyone who took time off to help this process.

Warm congratulations to Mr. Joseph Frimpong, the newly elected Parliamentary Candidate for the NPP in the constituency. I wish you the very best in this endeavour.

To the other candidates, I say well done as well. You put in a heartfelt effort.

Moving on as a united party, we have to come together as one to support our newly elected candidate to hoist the flag of NPP, and Ghana high. I pledge my support to Mr. Joseph Frimpong and will support as much as I can with his endeavours.

God bless you all.

Meanwhile, Mr Eric Kwakye Darffour remains the Eastern Regional Minister.
