Blooming highlife artiste, Kyei Nwom, says he would have quit music if not for his passion and talent God has given him.
He revealed this in an interview with host of the Angel Entertainment programme, ‘Mr Handsome’ on Angel 102.9 FM, Saturday.
“it’s very challenging, sometimes discouraging and making me feel like quitting music if not for my God-given talent, he said.
This was in response to a question about how he feels as an artiste who does good music and yet doesn’t have a producer.
Kyei Nwom said apart from music, he is a student at University of Cape Coast (UCC) where he is studying Psychological Foundations of Education.
He admitted that it is difficult to combine music with schooling but he doesn’t struggle with the music since it comes naturally to him.
“I’m able to write three to four songs a day if I set my mind to it so it is not a problem as compared to studies. I always dedicate a lot of time to study my books at dawn then during the day, I go to the studio and do my recordings and songs.”
Kyei Nwom is a highlife artiste who is doing well in his chosen field. He has songs like Akonoba, Damebi, One day and ‘Agartha’ being the latest one.
