Running Mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, visited the Odawna market in Accra to empathise and solidarise with the traders who lost the their wares during a fire outbreak.
The Wednesday dawn fire destroyed a number of stalls and the wares of many traders in the market.
The cause of the inferno, which affected hundreds of traders, is still being investigated by the National Fire Service.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang used her visit to assure the traders that the next John Mahama govern, if voted to power on December 7, will ensure they operate in a safe and secure environment while ensuring that such occurrence will be minimised.
