The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has used his universal QR code pin to purchase Waakye at Ridge in Accra.
The move forms part of efforts by the second gentleman of the land to demonstrate the use of the code.
President Akufo-Addo government since 2017 has been implementing various policies as part of efforts aimed at making the Ghanaian economy a ‘cashless’ one.
The Vice President after successfully buying waakye with the code at Auntie Muni Wakkye Joint wrote on his Facebook Page:
