The fire outbreak which is said to have happened on Monday, January 10, 2022 at about 4:00pm completely gutted 10 rooms out of 15 rooms of the house.

An eyewitness narrated to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM/TV that “I’m a mobile money vender just behind the house, so I came home to give my mother some money to cook food around 4 PM…When I was leaving the house, I smelled that something was burning”

“So I turned around and saw one of the rooms in flames and I shouted for help. The rooms in the compound house were 15 but 10 are burnt beyond recognition” he accounted.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertain by the Ghana Fire Service team.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
