President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed former deputy sports minister, Perry Curtis Okudzeto and Linda Asante as deputy Chief Executives of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
A statement issued by the NPA and chanced on by Angelonline.com.gh, said the appointment of the duo respectively is in pursuant to the powers vested in the under section 49 (1) of the NPA Act 2005 (Act 691).
The statement signed by the Corporate Affairs Directorate of the NPA announced that “in line with the Constitutional requirements governing such appointments, the Governing Board at its 29th Ordinary Board Meeting held on 15th February, 2022 confirmed the appointment of Mr. Perry Okudzeto and Mrs. Linda Asante to the position of Deputy Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority.”
With the directives, the statement added that Mr. Okudzeto and Mrs. Linda’s mandate as deputy Chief Executives takes effect on March 1, 2022.
