Government takes possession of lands allegedly owned by Sir John

The Minister for lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor has revealed that lands allegedly owned by late Chief Executive of Forestry Commission– popularly known as Sir John–and willed to some beneficiaries, are state properties.

Accordingly, the lands ceases to be his, as records from the Lands and Forestry Commission show no records of ownership of the parcels of lands located at Achimota and Sakumonor Ramsar site.
