Senior Broadcast Journalist with the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Naa Atswei Oduro, picked two awards for her role in promoting good environmental practices and sanitation in the country.
The experienced broadcaster with over 25 years of practice, was adjudged the Most Influential Media Personality in Environment and Sanitation at the maiden Ghana Environmental and Sanitation Awards (GESA), which took place on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in Accra.
Her talkshow, ‘Sesa wo suban’, which airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Angel TV, also won the Most Influential TV/Radio/Online Program in Environmental and Sanitation category.
Naa Atswei started her journalism practice with the Dormaa Community Radio in the then Bono Ahafo Region in 1997.
She has since moved on to work some of the country’s popular media networks including the State broadcaster, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, The Multimedia Group Limited and Class Media Group.
She is currently a news anchor and presenter at Angel 102.9 FM, Accra and Angel TV operated by the Angel Broadcasting Network.
