At least six vehicles have reportedly crashed in an accident at the Airport Hills Flyover on Thursday, October 19, 2022.
The accident reportedly occurred at about 8:40am.
A tipper truck failed its break whilst descending from the overpass of Palace Mall towards the Major Mahama Roundabout.
It ran into about nine vehicles, four of which were badly damaged and requiring a tow truck to move.
The four vehicles were a Mercedes Benz, a van, a Honda Accord and a Kia Picanto.
In a viral video sighted by Angelonline.com.gh one of the witnesses could be heard saying that at least six cars were involved in the accident.
Speaking in the Twi dialect, the witness said “about six cars were involved in the accident. Some of the vehicles are over there.”
In the video, the KIA Picanto was seen to have crashed into another private car.
