An Accra Circuit Court has granted a bail of GHc150,000 with three sureties to the self-acclaimed Evangelist and Founder of the Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, Patricia Asiedua, popularly called Nana Agradaa.
As part of the bail conditions, the accused has been directed to deposit her passport at the court registry. Out of the three sureties one must be justified with a title deed.
She is expected to be released on bail upon meeting the conditions set by the court presided over by Evelyn Asamoah.
She has pleaded not guilty to one count of charlatanic advertisement and five counts of defrauding by false pretense.
The case at court 10 has since been adjourned to Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Meanwhile, at Circuit Court 9, presided over by Mr Samuel Bright Acquah, Agradaa has been admitted to bail in the sum of GHS50,000 with three sureties after pleading not guilty to the charges against her.
She is facing one count of charlatanic advertisement and six counts of defrauding by false pretenses.
The Court also directed the accused to report to the investigator of the matter every Wednesday until the final determination of the case.
Monday, October 17, 2022, was her third appearance in court in connection with the fraud charges. Despite the bail, she remained in lawful custody as she was battling another case in a different court.
The fraud case has, however, been adjourned to the 10th of November 2022.
The court also ordered the prosecution to file their disclosures and have them served.
