The Twitter account of Ghanaian Musician Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known by his stage name AMG Medikal has been suspended for violating the regulations of the bird app.
This comes after the musician used the same name and picture of President Akufo-Addo without acknowledging the fact that it’s a “parody”.

A Twitter account with name Beno SarkCess retweeted Medikal’s post by tagging the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk that reads “Hi@elonmusk kindly check @AMGMedikal’s account he’s trying to impersonate the President of Ghana.”
The CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk tweeted that, “Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying “parody” will be permanently suspended.

He added that,” previously, we issued a warning before suspension, but now that we are rolling out widespread verification, there will be no warning. This will be clearly identified as a condition for signing up to Twitter Blue.
Against this background the musician Twitter account’s is currently suspended for violation of Twitter Rules.
