Asante Akyem North MP arrest: What we know so far

The flagbearer of the United Front Party (UFP), Akwasi Addae, popularly known as Odike has opined that the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang do not understand the challenges of the country.

According to him, the failure of Prof Opoku-Agyemang to comment on and proffer solutions to any of the country’s problems is a testament to his assertions that she has no idea how to tackle the country’s problems.

“The woman has not said a word on how she and her boss are going to develop Ghana. John Mahama has not made one single statement or policy to show that he understands the problems facing this country. He simply has no clue how he will tackle our problems…,” he said on Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Monday, 25th March, 2024.

The former Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) was confirmed as the running mate to John Mahama, for the 2024 presidential election on March 7, 2024. She is however yet to make a policy statement to Ghanaains.

And this, Odike thinks is proof that she has nothing to add to the NDC ticket adding that both she and Mahama have nothing better to offer Ghanaians.

Statements like ‘the next government that will come into power will suffer’, which have been repeated by the former President on several occasions lays credence to his claims that ‘Mahama simply has nothing to offer Ghanaians’.
