The Dagomba Chief of Kasoa, Alhaji Abdulai Abdullah has praised the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for changing the face of politics in Ghana.
He said Ghanaian politics until the coming of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who is now the flagbearer of the NPP was full of insults and counter accusations.
The unhealthy nature of campaigning in the country, he added, made politics unattractive to neutrals forcing persons with great minds and intellectuals to stay away from contributing to the development of Ghana.
“Previously, it was uncommon to hear insults and name calling in the run up to elections, but your coming has changed this remarkably and that’s very impressive…,” he said.
He therefore thanked the Vice President for raising the bar and ensuring that Ghanaian voters now discuss policies instead of insulting one another.
The Dagomba Chief further assured the Vice President that Kasoa will be violence free in the 2024 elections.
“I can assure you that Kasoa will never be in the news for negative reasons in this 2024 elections…,” he said.
He further pleaded with Dr Bawumia to ensure that Kasoa gets a state of the art Arabic school when he becomes President and also get a pick up for the Odikro to aide his movement.
The Odikro of Kasoa, Nai Muhammad Saani Seidu III assured the Vice President to feel at home anytime he is Kasoa as his grandfather was a friend to the late father of the Vice President.
The Vice President presented assorted drinks, water and various sums of money to the Odikro’s palace.
He further assured the chiefs that LGBTQ+ will never tolerated in his administration insisting that he would defend Ghanaian culture and values in spite of the cost to the country.
Kasoa, he added, will get a state of the art SHS when he ascends the high seat
