He promised that it would be possible to put aside political differences and unite for the benefit of Ghana.
“We are assured that we may rise above our differences and unite for the sake of our country”, he stated.
He urged voters, presidential and parliamentary candidates, political parties, electoral officials, the media, security, and the general public to assume responsibility as we prepare for elections to maintain peace and harmony and show that Ghanaians are not reluctant democrats as the 2024 election draws to a close.
“As we approach the home stretch of the elections 2024, my plea to everybody involved in the electioneering process, including presidential and parliamentary candidates, political parties, electoral officers, the media, security, and the general public to take responsibility to ensure peace and harmony seriously and demonstrate that we [Ghanaians] are not a reluctant democrat,” he recommended.
According to him, he and the NPP hope that we [Ghanaians] all emerge from this election as a stronger country.
