Black Stars skipper, Jordan Ayew, has pledged the team’s readiness to ensure that Ghana will return to winning ways.
He said despite the difficult moments the team is facing, they will turn things around with an impressive display, accompanied by victories in upcoming matches.
The Leicester City attacker made the promise on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, when President John Dramani Mahama visited the team at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Jordan Ayew, responding to the President’s admonishment for the team to put aside the AFCON fiasco, acknowledged the task ahead and expressed confidence in the team’s commitment to deliver.
“It’s a big sign that you’re here supporting us. We know we’re in a tough situation, but we’re not afraid. We will turn things around on Friday, so you can relax. We’ll do the job for the nation,” he promised.
