COP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah reassigned to Interior Ministry as Technical Advisor

Commissioner of Police (COP), Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, has been reassigned to the Interior Ministry as the Technical Advisor.

This came hours after the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, named her as the Head of Research and Planning at the Police Headquarters.

A statement from the Presidency explained that this reassignment has taken immediate effect.

“In line with this directive, you are hereby reassigned from your current position to the Ministry of the Interior, where you will serve as the Technical Advisor to the Honorable Minister,” it stated.

President John Dramani Mahama, according to the statement, recognized and deeply appreciated COP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah’s unwavering dedication, professionalism, and invaluable contributions to the nation.

It further stated that her experience and commitment would help her continue to serve the country in a new capacity.

The statement expected her coordination with relevant authorities to ensure a smooth transition into her new role.
