The Chief Executive for the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region, Samuel Adongo, has charged assembly staff to approach their duties with diligence, integrity, and a sense of purpose.
Mr. Adongo, who began his tenure in office with a familiarization and durbar meeting with the assembly staff, emphasised the importance of working collaboratively and with due diligence for the development of the assembly.
His appointment as MCE was confirmed following a 100% endorsement by assembly members on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Addressing the staff of the Assembly, Mr. Adongo admonished that time management, punctuality, and efficiency in their work would be crucial in setting a positive tone for the assembly and would reflect their dedication to service.
He further urged them to ‘foster a culture of collaboration and support, treating one another with kindness and respect.’
According to him, a harmonious workplace leads to greater productivity and innovation; therefore, he is entreating them to celebrate their diversity and work together as a united team to transform New Juaben North.
Mr. Adongo mentioned that remuneration is vital to their well-being and assured them that their contributions would be recognized and valued.
He then pledged to improve working conditions for the staff of New Juaben North to motivate them to discharge their duties effectively for the betterment of the assembly.
The Municipal Coordinating Director for the Assembly, Ndinga Nborinyi, in his speech, advised the staff that with a new MCE, they should refrain from backbiting their colleagues to win his favor, adding that tarnishing a co-worker’s image for personal gain would not add value to oneself but would destroy productivity.
Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi emphasized that Samuel Adongo is not there to serve party interests but to serve the interest of the people of New Juaben North without political colours.
“As Local Government workers, our core mandate is to support the Government to succeed,” he warned.
